Description
Timco Classic A2 Stainless Steel Pan Head Wood Screws are multi-purpose fixings designed to provide reliable performance and improved clamping capability across a wide range of materials.
Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, these screws are ideal for applications where corrosion resistance is required, while retaining the proven Classic screw design for consistent trade performance.
The pan head design offers increased surface contact, making these screws particularly suitable where improved clamping strength is required without countersinking. They are suitable for use in softwood, hardwood (pre-drilled where required), chipboard, MDF, plastics and thin sheet metal.
Stainless steel fixings are recommended where the base material has inherent corrosive characteristics, such as green oak, or where moisture exposure could lead to staining or corrosion.
A 40° deep single thread provides secure fixing with good pull-out resistance, while a sharp point ensures fast pick-up and improved thread acceptance. From 25mm and above, a single slash point helps reduce driving torque and minimise the likelihood of timber splitting when fixing close to edges.
All sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded. Lengths 80mm and above feature a 70mm thread length, helping balance driving performance and clamping strength in thicker materials.
Classic A2 Stainless Steel Pan Head Wood Screws are commonly used for joinery, interior fit-out and applications where a visible head and reliable corrosion resistance are required.
