Description
Timco green exterior decking screws 4.5mm x 80mm are designed specifically for fixing softwood decking boards to timber joists in outdoor environments. The corrosion-resistant green coating provides protection suitable for urban and low salt atmosphere conditions.
The double countersunk head with ribs allows for clean countersinking and a neat flush finish. Meanwhile, the helix shank removes debris as the screw drives in, improving clamping performance and helping to reduce timber jacking.
A sharp 25° point ensures fast pick-up and consistent penetration into softwood boards, making installation quick and controlled.
These screws are ideal for thicker decking boards or where increased engagement into the joist is required. For best results, position screws 15–20mm from board edges and use two fixings per joist to prevent twisting.
Manufactured to BS EN 14592:2008, these decking screws offer reliable outdoor performance for general garden decking and timber structures.
