EML Galvanised Sheet – 2438 x 685mm – Box of 10

The Teco EML Galvanised Sheet – 2438 × 685mm (Box of 10) provides a strong mechanical key for plaster applied to walls and suspended ceilings. It supports plaster adhesion and helps reinforce surfaces where additional strength and stability are required.

Expanded metal lathing also suits encasing steel columns and beams, where it assists with fire protection and plaster build-up. The galvanised steel construction makes this sheet suitable for internal use and sheltered external applications where exposure to moisture remains limited.

Each sheet measures 2438 × 685mm and comes supplied in a box of 10, making it ideal for larger plastering and construction projects. When installing, always overlap sheets correctly and follow recommended fixing practices to ensure a secure and durable finish. Gloves should be worn during handling, as cut edges may be sharp.

Installation Notes

• Fix sheets with the long edge spanning between supports
• Ensure mesh strands slope downwards and inwards from the plaster face
• Overlap sheets by 50mm lengthways and 25mm widthways
• Fix to timber using plasterer’s nails or screws with washers at 100mm centres
• Fix to metal supports using 1.2mm tying wire at 100mm centres
• Wear gloves during handling as edges may be sharp

Please Note

For external applications, exposed locations, or areas subject to moisture, condensation, or extended drying times, stainless steel expanded metal lathing should be used instead of galvanised steel.
