Stainless Steel Form B Washers (BS 4320B / DIN 125-B)
A2 stainless steel Form B washers for corrosion-resistant clamping and wider load distribution in external applications.
What are stainless steel Form B washers used for?
Stainless steel Form B washers are used to spread load under a bolt or nut while providing strong corrosion resistance. Because they have a larger outer diameter than Form A washers, they distribute pressure across a wider surface area.
Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, these washers conform to BS 4320B, which is equivalent to DIN 125-B. They are thinner than Form A washers and are suitable for clamping and spacing applications in external, damp or corrosive environments.

Why choose Form B instead of Form A?
Form B washers have a larger outer diameter than Form A washers. As a result, they provide greater load distribution and improved surface coverage.
They are commonly selected when fixing into softer materials, oversized holes or where increased load spreading is required.
