Zinc Form B Washers (BS 4320B / DIN 125-B)
Zinc plated Form B washers for clamping and load distribution in general internal fixing applications.
What are zinc Form B washers used for?
Zinc Form B washers are used to spread load under a bolt or nut during clamping and spacing applications. Because they have a larger outer diameter than Form A washers, they distribute pressure across a wider surface area.
Manufactured from steel and plated in zinc with a clear passivation (CR3), these washers conform to BS 4320B, which is equivalent to DIN 125-B. They are thinner than Form A washers and are commonly used in internal construction, engineering and general assembly work.

Why choose Form B instead of Form A?
Form B washers have a larger outer diameter than Form A washers. As a result, they provide greater load distribution and improved surface coverage.
They are often selected when fixing into softer materials, oversized holes or where increased load spreading is required.
