Description
This exterior silver carriage bolt, washer and nut set is designed for secure timber fixings in demanding outdoor environments. The domed head provides a neat, low-profile finish once installed.
A square anti-spin shoulder beneath the head locks into the timber during tightening. This prevents the bolt from rotating and allows secure tightening from one side, making it suitable for clamping timber sections together or fixing ironmongery to timber.
The bolt is coated with a patented multi-layer silver organic corrosion-resistant finish. This coating is designed to withstand up to 1,000 hours salt spray testing, making it suitable for long-term external use.
Supplied complete with a matching hex nut and Form A washer, this fixing set provides a convenient, ready-to-use solution for decking, fencing, landscaping structures and general outdoor timber construction.
