Timco Classic A4 Stainless Steel Countersunk Wood Screws are multi-purpose fixings manufactured from marine grade A4 stainless steel, offering exceptional corrosion resistance in demanding environments.

Designed for use where standard plated or A2 stainless steel screws may be unsuitable, these fixings are ideal for coastal locations, exposed external applications and highly corrosive conditions.

They are suitable for fixing into softwood, hardwood (pre-drilled where required), chipboard, MDF, plastics and thin sheet metal. Stainless steel fixings are essential where the base material has inherent corrosive characteristics, such as green oak, or where moisture exposure could lead to staining or premature corrosion.

A double countersunk head assists smooth countersinking and helps reduce the likelihood of head shear, allowing a clean, flush finish. The 40° deep single thread provides secure fixing with good pull-out resistance.

From 25mm and above, a single slash point helps reduce driving torque and minimise timber splitting when fixing close to edges.

All sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded. Lengths 80mm and above feature a 70mm thread length, helping balance driving performance and fixing strength in thicker materials.
