Description
Timco stainless steel decking screws 50mm are manufactured from A2 stainless steel to provide superior corrosion resistance in external applications. They are ideal for decking installations where exposure to moisture or corrosive timbers such as oak or cedar is a concern.
The double countersunk head reduces the likelihood of head shear and assists clean countersinking for a neat, flush finish. A helix shank clears debris as the screw drives in, improving clamping performance and helping to reduce timber jacking.
A single slash point lowers driving torque and reduces the risk of splitting, particularly when fixing close to board edges. These screws are suitable for softwood and hardwood applications, although pre-drilling is recommended for dense hardwood.
