Timco silver hex timber screws 6.0mm x 80mm, are designed as a modern alternative to traditional coach screws, providing faster installation and stronger clamping performance in structural timber applications.

Each screw features a hex head with integrated fixed washer, allowing high torque driving with a socket or impact driver while delivering clean, tight pull-together action. The 50° deep single thread provides excellent pull-out resistance, making these screws suitable for decking frames, fencing, pergolas, sleeper projects and general exterior timber construction.

The patented silver multi-layer coating offers up to 1,000 hours salt spray resistance, ensuring long-term protection in outdoor environments. This makes them suitable for most exterior timber applications where durability and corrosion resistance are required.

A sharp slash point reduces torque and helps minimise timber splitting, even at lower edge distances. In most softwoods and treated timbers, a pilot hole is not required, helping to reduce installation time on site. For dense hardwoods or when working close to edges, a pilot hole may be beneficial.
