Description
Zinc Penny Repair Washers are designed with a larger outer diameter than standard washers. This allows the clamping load of a bolt or screw to be spread over a wider surface area, helping prevent pull-through and improving support when fixing into softer or thinner materials.
Often referred to as mudguard washers, penny repair washers are widely used when repairing oversized holes, reinforcing thin sheet materials or packing out fixings where additional spacing is required.
Manufactured to DIN 9054
These washers are manufactured to DIN 9054 specification and zinc plated (CR3) with passivation (3–5 microns). The finish provides light corrosion resistance, making them suitable for clean, dry environments and general internal fixing applications.

- Reducing hole diameter in sheet materials
