Solo Zinc Countersunk Wood Screws are an economic, single thread wood screw designed for consistent performance across common trade fixing tasks. Finished with a bright zinc plating, they are intended for internal and dry environment applications where reliable fixing and value are key.

These square drive (SQ) woodscrews are suitable for use in softwood, hardwood, chipboard, MDF and other man-made boards. They can also be used for masonry fixing when installed with a suitable plastic wall plug, making them a versatile option for general site work, maintenance and second-fix applications.

The single thread design provides secure fixing and good pull-out resistance in low-density substrates, while the double countersunk head reduces the likelihood of head shear and helps achieve a smooth, flush finish. Wax lubrication improves insertion speed and reduces driving torque for easier installation.

All sizes up to and including 75mm are fully threaded. Lengths of 80mm and above are partially threaded with a 70mm thread length, making longer screws suitable where draw-up is required.
