Description
Zinc spring washers are designed to help prevent nuts and bolts from loosening due to vibration or movement. Their split design allows the washer to apply tension when compressed, helping maintain pressure within the fixing assembly.
Spring washers are commonly used in mechanical assemblies, structural connections and general construction where maintaining bolt tension is important.
How Spring Washers Work
When a bolt or nut is tightened, the spring washer compresses slightly. This creates tension between the fixing and the surface being secured, helping resist loosening caused by vibration or movement.
