Description
Long leg timber hangers are designed for deeper timber-to-timber structural connections where the joist sits below the supporting beam or ledger. Their extended leg design provides additional support for deeper joists and under-slung floor installations.
These joist hangers are commonly used in structural timber work including loft conversions, floor joist installation and timber framing where deeper joists require secure support.
Manufactured from pre-galvanised steel, Timco long leg timber hangers provide strong corrosion resistance and are suitable for most structural timber applications. The galvanised finish helps protect the hanger against moisture and corrosion in normal building conditions.
The extended leg design allows the hanger to support joists up to 250mm deep, making them suitable for a wide range of structural timber floor systems.
