Description
Exterior Green Hex Timber Screws – 6.7 x 100mm are designed as a modern alternative to traditional coach screws, providing faster installation and strong structural performance in outdoor timber applications.
The hex head with integrated fixed washer delivers high clamping force and allows controlled, high-torque installation using a socket or impact driver. The 50° deep single thread provides excellent pull-out resistance in softwood and treated timber, making these screws ideal for decking frames, sleeper walls, fencing and general landscaping projects.
Each screw is coated with a patented multi-layer green exterior plating, tested to withstand up to 1,000 hours salt spray resistance (BS EN 9227:2012). This ensures long-lasting corrosion protection in outdoor environments while blending visually with pressure-treated timber.
The helix shank removes debris during insertion to improve clamping efficiency and reduce driving resistance. A sharp 25° point with single slash tip helps minimise splitting, even when fixing close to edges. In most softwoods, a pilot hole is not required, helping to reduce installation time on site.
For highly corrosive environments or when fixing into Green Oak, A4 stainless steel screws should be used instead.
