Description
The Timco 6.3 x 130 Fibre Cement Board to Light Section Screws are designed for securing fibre cement profile sheets, such as Big 6 roofing sheets, to light section steel up to 5mm thick. These heavy-duty exterior fixings feature a hex head with self-drilling tip, offering fast and efficient installation without the need for pre-drilling.
Each screw includes a BAZ washer, combining EPDM rubber and stainless steel to provide a watertight seal and long-term weather resistance. The silver organic exterior coating offers corrosion protection equivalent to 500+ hours salt spray resistance, making these screws ideal for outdoor roofing and cladding applications.
Additionally, the screws feature cutting wings that ream an oversized hole in the fibre cement board. This prevents sheet damage and allows for thermal expansion, which is crucial in exposed external installations.
