Description
Plasterers Blend SBR Clear Primer – 5L is a professional-grade primer developed to improve adhesion, control suction and optimise plaster flow across a range of applications.
The specialist SBR formulation provides superior adhesion while helping to regulate suction from the substrate. As a result, plaster remains more workable during application and provides a more consistent finish.
In addition, the primer helps to reduce cracking and shrinkage, supporting a reliable finish as the plaster dries. Its moisture and alkali resistance also makes it suitable for demanding applications and varied site conditions.
The clear, low-viscosity formulation allows for flexible application without adding unwanted colour to the prepared surface. Furthermore, it can be used in both interior and exterior environments, making it a versatile solution for professional plastering work.
Timco’s formulation offers over 50% greater coverage and 50% less drying time*. Therefore, the Plasterers Blend SBR Primer can help improve efficiency while providing the adhesion and suction control needed for consistent plaster application.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Orders may be dispatched from more than one location and items within the same order may therefore arrive separately. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for further information.
Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
