The TB Davies INSUL8-S Fibreglass Professional Swingback Step – 5 Tread is a durable and lightweight stepladder designed for professional use, particularly when working around electricity. Its non-conductive fibreglass stiles help provide additional protection, while the super-strong C-section construction and reinforced aluminium treads create a sturdy yet easy-to-handle step.
Comfortable 80mm deep treads provide secure footing while climbing, while hinged metal locking stays help keep the ladder stable when open. Large angled feet maximise contact with the ground to help reduce slipping, and the integrated multi-function tool tray keeps frequently used tools and equipment conveniently within reach while you work.
The 5 tread model has a maximum step height of 0.52m and an approximate working height of 2.27m, providing useful extra reach for everyday trade and maintenance tasks. Weighing 7.0kg, it remains practical to move between jobs while retaining the strength required for professional use. It is EN131 Professional compliant, supports a maximum load of 150kg and comes with a 3-year warranty.
