Description
The Teco Alkaline Resistant Render Mesh – 1m x 50m reinforces render, plaster, and cement-based systems while helping reduce cracking and surface movement. Woven fibreglass yarns form the mesh, while an alkaline resistant latex coating protects the fibres from cement alkalinity. As a result, the mesh maintains strength and long-term performance.
This render mesh is widely used in construction to reinforce renders, plasters, screeds, and concrete. It performs particularly well where cracking is visible or where uneven masonry substrates require stabilisation before rendering. Therefore, it helps create a stronger, more durable finished surface.
Manufacturers typically recommend placing the mesh within the first 50% of the render or plaster depth. In general, positioning the mesh closer to the substrate improves reinforcement and overall performance. Each roll measures 1 metre wide and 50 metres long, making it suitable for both small repairs and large-scale projects.

Installation Notes

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
