Description
The Teco Rib Lath Sheet – Stainless Steel – 2500 × 600mm (Box of 10) provides a rigid plaster key for ceilings, partitions, and wall applications. Longitudinal ribs stiffen the sheet and improve strength. As a result, plaster finishes gain better crack control and long-term durability.
Rib lath supports internal plastering and demanding external applications. Because stainless steel resists corrosion, this sheet performs reliably in exposed, damp, or coastal environments. It also reinforces plaster where movement or stress may occur, therefore reducing the risk of cracking in finished surfaces.
Each sheet measures 2500 × 600mm and features 8mm deep ribs, which increase rigidity and improve load distribution. Supplied in a box of 10, these sheets suit larger plastering and construction projects. During installation, correct overlap and fixing methods remain essential. For this reason, installers should follow recommended fixing practices and always wear gloves, as cut edges are sharp.
Key Features
- Stiffened rib lath for improved plaster support
- Longitudinal ribs enhance strength and crack control
- Suitable for ceilings, partitions, and plaster keying
- Assists with anti-crack reinforcement

Installation Notes
- Position ribs so the rib tips sit against the supporting background
- Run ribs at right angles to supports
- Overlap sheets by 50mm end-to-end and 25mm widthways
- Fix to timber supports at each rib using nails, screws, or staples
- Fix to metal supports using tying wire at each rib

- Always use compatible corrosion-resistant fixings
- Wear gloves during handling as edges are sharp
Stainless steel rib lath is recommended for external, exposed, damp, or coastal environments. For dry internal or sheltered areas, galvanised rib lath may be suitable.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Orders may be dispatched from more than one location and items within the same order may therefore arrive separately. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for further information.
Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
Please contact us before returning any goods so that we can provide the correct return address and any applicable return instructions or authorisation requirements. Different provisions apply to business customers and to goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for full details.
Should you require any assistance, please email us at sales@fastfixingsonline.com, call us on 07920 120644, or complete our contact form. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
