Description

Timco C2 Clamp-Fix screws are purpose-designed timber-to-timber clamping screws developed to prevent timber “jacking” during installation and deliver tight, stable joints.

Unlike standard woodscrews, Clamp-Fix screws are engineered to draw two pieces of timber together as the screw is driven, helping achieve a clean, flush finish without gaps or material lift. This makes them ideal for applications where joint control and alignment are critical.

A precision TX (Torx) drive recess provides positive engagement and helps prevent cam-out, allowing controlled driving and consistent results. Ribs under the double countersunk head improve countersinking and help reduce splitting and surface damage.

Clamp-Fix screws feature Timco’s patented Twin-Cut point for rapid pick-up, faster insertion and reduced timber splitting. A dual-angle thread delivers strong holding power, while a high-molecular polymer lubricant reduces insertion torque by up to 52% and improves corrosion resistance compared to standard zinc plating.

Clamp-Fix screws are partially threaded from 40mm, allowing the unthreaded shank to pull the top timber tight against the second piece and create a true clamping effect.

They are commonly used for timber framing, decking substructures, fencing, studwork and joinery where preventing timber jacking and achieving a secure, closed joint is essential.

Delivery & Returns

All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.

Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Orders may be dispatched from more than one location and items within the same order may therefore arrive separately. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for further information.

Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.

For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.

Please contact us before returning any goods so that we can provide the correct return address and any applicable return instructions or authorisation requirements. Different provisions apply to business customers and to goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for full details.

Should you require any assistance, please email us at sales@fastfixingsonline.com, call us on 07920 120644, or complete our contact form. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
