Description
This stainless steel carriage bolt and nut set, also known as a cup square bolt, is designed for secure timber connections where corrosion resistance and long-term reliability are required. The domed head provides a smooth, low-profile finish once installed.
A square anti-spin shoulder beneath the head bites into the timber during tightening. This prevents the bolt from rotating and allows secure tightening from one side, making it ideal for clamping timber sections together or fixing ironmongery to timber.
Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, this bolt and nut set offers excellent resistance to corrosion. It is well suited to external use, damp environments and applications involving treated or green timber, such as green oak.
Common applications include fencing, gates, decking subframes, landscaping structures and general structural timber connections. Supplied complete with a matching nut for a convenient, ready-to-use fixing solution.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Orders may be dispatched from more than one location and items within the same order may therefore arrive separately. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for further information.
Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
