Description
The Timco fence post spike 50 x 450mm is a compact and cost-effective solution for installing smaller timber posts without digging or using concrete.
Designed for 50 x 50mm posts, this bolt secure fence post spike features a 450mm drive-in spike that provides reliable ground fixing for light-duty fencing and garden projects. As a result, it is ideal for low-height fencing, edging, and small structures.
The bolt secure design uses 2 x 8mm carriage bolts to clamp the post firmly in place. This ensures a tight hold while allowing for slight variations in post size. In addition, the post can be removed or replaced later if required.
The 4-fin steel spike improves grip in the ground, helping to increase stability and reduce movement. Furthermore, the design keeps the timber post raised above ground level, reducing the risk of rot, moisture damage, and decay.
Finished in oxide red powder coating (RAL 8015), this fence post spike provides medium corrosion protection and blends well with timber fencing. It can also be painted over to match surrounding structures if required.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Orders may be dispatched from more than one location and items within the same order may therefore arrive separately. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for further information.
Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
