Description
This Fire Door Intumescent Acrylic Sealant – White helps stop the spread of fire and smoke. It is halogen-free and designed to expand when exposed to heat over 125°C. This forms a heat-resistant char that seals gaps and slows fire movement.
It provides up to 120 minutes of fire resistance, tested to BS EN 1634-1 and BS 476 Part 20/22. It is also Certifire Approved (CF5840), so you can trust its quality.
Use it around fire doors, cladding, walls, and service gaps. It’s easy to apply and stays flexible by up to 12.5%, even after curing. This makes it perfect for areas with slight movement.
Plus, this Fire Door Intumescent Acrylic Sealant can be painted with most types of paint, so it blends in easily. The sealant is also acoustic, helping reduce sound as well as fire risk.
Because it bonds to many surfaces, it’s great for both home and commercial projects. Over time, it won’t crack, harden, or shrink — giving you long-lasting protection.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
