Description
The 22mm bolt on gate hook from Timco provides a secure and dependable way to hang gates from timber posts. Designed to suit timber posts between 4″ and 10″ thick, it creates a strong fixing point for field gates, farm gates, paddock gates, and driveway gates.
The larger 22mm diameter makes this fitting particularly suitable for heavier gates and demanding agricultural applications. As a result, it provides excellent strength and support where larger gate installations require a robust hanging solution.
Unlike drive in gate hooks, this fitting bolts directly through the post. Therefore, it creates a highly secure fixing and helps maintain stability under regular use. In addition, the bolt-through design provides long-term reliability for agricultural and commercial gate installations.
Timco manufactures this gate hook from heavy duty steel and finishes it with hot dipped galvanising. Consequently, it offers excellent protection against corrosion and performs well in outdoor environments. Furthermore, the galvanised coating helps extend the life of the fitting when exposed to the elements.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
