Description
Timco 8.0 x 40mm timber screws provide a heavy duty alternative to traditional coach screws. Designed for applications where extra strength is required, they combine fast installation with a strong and secure fixing.
These screws don’t require a pilot hole in most wood types, helping to dramatically reduce installation time. The hex head allows high-torque driving, while the integrated fixed washer helps spread the load and improve clamping.
A 50° deep single thread provides high pull-out resistance for a secure fixing. The helix helps remove debris as the screw enters the timber and improves clamping during installation.
The single slash point reduces driving torque and helps minimise the risk of timber splitting at low edge distances. This helps make installation easier while maintaining a strong connection between timbers.
Timco applies its patented multi-layer silver corrosion-resistant plating for added protection. The coating withstands up to 1,000 hours of salt spray testing, making these heavy duty timber screws ideal for external applications.
