Description
Timco Long Flat Wood Bits are designed for deep drilling in timber, chipboard and other man-made boards. With a 400mm length, they provide extended reach for applications where standard bits cannot access.
Each bit features a three-point cutting design with an integral centre point, which helps guide the bit accurately while improving drilling speed. In addition, the twin cutting edges allow for rapid chip removal, helping to maintain smooth and consistent drilling.
The extended length makes these bits ideal for drilling deeper holes or working in hard-to-reach areas. As a result, they are well suited for structural work, installation jobs and applications where extra reach is required.
A 1/4” quick release hex shank allows for fast bit changes and ensures compatibility with both 3 jaw chucks and quick release adaptors. Therefore, these bits can be used across a wide range of tools with ease.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Orders may be dispatched from more than one location and items within the same order may therefore arrive separately. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for further information.
Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
Please contact us before returning any goods so that we can provide the correct return address and any applicable return instructions or authorisation requirements.
