Description
Heavy section self drilling screws 55mm are designed for fast and reliable fixing into steel without pre-drilling. The No.5 drill point cuts through steel up to 12mm, which helps speed up installation and improve efficiency on site.
In addition, the fully threaded design provides consistent grip along the entire length of the screw. The metric thread with V flutes and torque-reducing slash helps drive the screw smoothly while reducing resistance. As a result, installation stays controlled and secure, even when fixing thicker materials or layered sections.
Each screw also includes an EPDM washer. This creates a watertight seal at the fixing point, making these screws ideal for roofing, cladding, and other external applications. The exterior silver organic coating protects against corrosion and performs well in urban and industrial environments.
