Description

The Timco 10mm x 130mm Timber Screws provide a heavy duty fixing solution for demanding timber applications. Unlike traditional coach screws, they can dramatically reduce installation time because most wood types do not require a pilot hole.

Each screw features a hex head with a fixed washer for strong and secure clamping. In addition, the 50° deep single thread provides high pull-out resistance where extra fixing strength matters.

The single slash point reduces installation torque and helps lower the risk of timber splitting at low edge distances. Meanwhile, the helix removes debris as the screw drives into the timber. As a result, it also helps improve clamping between the materials.

These heavy duty timber screws feature Timco’s patented multi-layer silver corrosion resistant plating. Therefore, they provide excellent protection when used for demanding exterior timber applications. The coating withstands 1,000 hours of salt spray testing and carries a corrosion rating of 3.

Furthermore, the exterior silver organic finish makes these screws suitable for urban and industrial areas with a low salt atmosphere. They also meet BS EN 14592:2008.

At 10mm x 130mm, the screws suit a wide variety of timber construction and landscaping applications. For example, you can use them where a traditional coach screw might otherwise provide the fixing. However, their efficient design can make installation considerably quicker.

Delivery & Returns

All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.

Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Orders may be dispatched from more than one location and items within the same order may therefore arrive separately. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for further information.

Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.

For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.

Please contact us before returning any goods so that we can provide the correct return address and any applicable return instructions or authorisation requirements. Different provisions apply to business customers and to goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for full details.
