Description
These Timco 8.0 x 400mm Wafer Head Timber Screws Pack 4 are designed for heavy-duty timber-to-timber fixing. They provide a strong alternative to traditional coach screws. The wide wafer head improves clamping while creating a neat, low-profile finish.
The green organic exterior coating provides excellent corrosion resistance. It withstands up to 1,000 hours of salt spray testing in accordance with BS EN 9227:2012. In addition, patented lubrication helps improve screw insertion and provides greater resistance to corrosion.
The helix shank helps remove debris during installation. It also improves clamping for a secure fixing. Meanwhile, the deep 50° single thread provides high pull-out resistance.
A 25° sharp point helps provide a fast start and improved thread acceptance. Furthermore, the single slash helps reduce insertion torque and the risk of timber splitting. These 8.0 x 400mm Wafer Head Timber Screws Pack 4 are ideal when only a small quantity of heavy-duty exterior fixings is required.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
