Description
BlackJax Woodscrews are twin-thread wood screws with a black organic finish, designed for use with black ironmongery on softwood and other common timber applications. They provide a neat, dark head that blends with black hinges, brackets and fittings where the fixing remains visible.
The Pozi drive round head offers secure clamping and a clean finished appearance, making these screws ideal for decorative timber work, gates, fencing and exterior joinery where a black head is preferred. The black organic coating is suitable for use in urban and industrial environments with a low salt atmosphere.
These twin-thread screws feature a 60° twin-thread design with a parallel shank for faster insertion and good pull-out resistance. A 25° sharp point with single lead provides a fast start and reliable thread engagement. The screws are manufactured from C10-18 steel for consistent quality, surface hardened to help prevent torque shearing under load and core hardened for improved ductility.
All sizes up to and including 30mm are fully threaded, while 32mm and above are partially threaded, making longer screws suitable where draw-up between the materials being fixed is required.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Orders may be dispatched from more than one location and items within the same order may therefore arrive separately. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for further information.
Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
Please contact us before returning any goods so that we can provide the correct return address and any applicable return instructions or authorisation requirements.
