Description
The Timloc White Lap Vent provides a simple way to increase ventilation within an existing roof space. Designed specifically for refurbishment applications, it separates lap joints in roofing felt and membrane to allow additional airflow into the roof void.
As a result, the vent can help improve roof space ventilation without requiring extensive alterations to the existing roof structure. Each unit provides 3000mm² of additional free vent area, making it a practical solution where greater airflow is required.
The discrete profile keeps the installation neat and unobtrusive. In addition, two integrated spring clips secure each unit firmly in position for a quick and straightforward installation.
The vent suits rafter spacings from 400mm to 600mm centres. Therefore, it offers plenty of flexibility across a range of existing roof constructions.
Furthermore, you can install the lap vents retrospectively after increasing the amount of loft insulation. This makes them particularly useful when insulation improvements affect the existing level of ventilation within the roof space.
Each vent measures 280 x 205mm and comes in a white finish. Finally, this product comes in a bag of 10, providing a convenient quantity for refurbishment and roof ventilation projects.
