FirmaHold First Fix Nail Bulk Packs – With Gas
Larger packs of 34° paper-collated clipped head nails with framing fuel cells included for compatible gas-powered first fix nailers.
About First Fix Nail Bulk Packs With Gas
First fix nail bulk packs with gas combine larger quantities of FirmaHold clipped head nails with framing nailer fuel cells. They provide a convenient way to order both consumables for framing, studwork and structural timber applications.
The 34° paper collation and clipped head design allow more nails per strip, helping reduce tool loading times. In addition, high-quality paper collation helps reduce nail jams, while the diamond point provides effective penetration into timber.

Which Nail Guns Suit These Packs?
Timco’s compatibility guide specifies CFC framing fuel cells and FirmaHold clipped head nails for gas-powered models including the Paslode IM350 / IM350+, Makita GN900SE and HiKOKI / Hitachi NR90GC2.
Check your exact model in our FirmaHold first fix nail gun compatibility table before ordering. Your tool must accept both the fuel cell and the nail specification, including the length and shank diameter.
Check the nail type carefully. FirmaHold clipped head nails are not suitable for round head nailers such as the Paslode IM360Ci, or for 21° plastic-collated and 28° wire-collated nailers.
Choosing a Bulk Pack for Your Project
Choose the nail specification required for the connection, then select the pack quantity to suit your workload. These first fix nail bulk packs with gas include both nails and fuel cells, but the contents vary between products.
| What to Check | Selection Guidance |
|---|---|
| Length & Diameter | Match the fixing specification and your nailer’s accepted dimensions. |
| Shank Type | Select the plain, ring or part ring shank required for the connection, according to the available products. |
| Material & Finish | Check the stated application and service class against the timber and exposure conditions. |
| Nail Quantity | Confirm the number of nails included in the individual listing. |
| Fuel Cells | Check the number supplied and confirm compatibility with your gas-powered framing nailer. |
Choosing the Right Nail Finish
Bright nails suit dry internal applications where additional corrosion protection is not required. For FirmaGalv, FirmaGalv+ and hot dipped galvanised options, check each product’s stated service class and intended use.
Do not assume every galvanised finish suits exposed outdoor conditions. Select corrosion protection according to the timber, installation environment and project specification. For structural connections, also check the individual product’s declared performance and conformity information.
Do You Need a Pack With Gas?
Packs with fuel cells are useful when you need to replenish nails and gas together. However, compatible battery-powered and pneumatic nailers use the nails only and do not require fuel cells.
If you use one of these tools, or already have suitable fuel available, browse our FirmaHold first fix nail bulk packs without gas. You can also buy FirmaHold framing nailer fuel cells separately.
