About FirmaHold First Fix Nail Bulk Packs
FirmaHold first fix nail bulk packs provide larger quantities of clipped head nails for framing, studwork and structural timber applications. Supplied without fuel cells, these packs suit compatible battery-powered and pneumatic nailers, as well as gas-powered tools when suitable fuel cells are purchased separately.
The 34° paper collation and clipped head design allow more nails per strip, helping reduce tool loading times. In addition, high-quality paper collation helps reduce nail jams, while the diamond point provides effective penetration into timber.

Which Nail Guns Take These Nails?
Timco’s compatibility guide lists framing nailers including the Paslode IM350 / IM350+, DeWalt DCN692, Milwaukee M18 FFN and Makita GN900SE for FirmaHold clipped head nails. However, accepted nail lengths and shank diameters vary between models.
Check your exact tool in our FirmaHold first fix nail gun compatibility table before ordering. A listed model does not necessarily accept every nail size available in this category.
Check the nail type carefully. FirmaHold clipped head nails are not suitable for round head nailers such as the Paslode IM360Ci, or for 21° plastic-collated and 28° wire-collated nailers.
Choosing a Bulk Pack for Your Project
Choose the nail specification required for the connection, then select the pack quantity to suit your workload. Larger boxes are useful for repeated fixing tasks, but the nail length, diameter, shank and finish still need to match the job.

Choosing the Right Nail Finish
Bright nails suit dry internal applications where additional corrosion protection is not required. For coated or stainless steel nails, check each listing’s intended use and exposure suitability before selecting.
Do not assume every galvanised finish suits exposed outdoor work, or that A2 stainless steel is suitable for every coastal or highly corrosive environment. Follow the product guidance and project specification when choosing corrosion protection.
Using Bulk Packs With a Gas-Powered Nailer
These FirmaHold first fix nail bulk packs contain nails only. If you use a compatible gas-powered framing nailer, make sure you have the correct fuel cells available.
