Decking Screws – Stainless Steel
A2 stainless steel decking screws for high corrosion resistance in external and corrosive timber applications.
Stainless Steel Decking Screws for External Use
These A2 stainless steel decking screws are designed for softwood decking and timber structures where enhanced corrosion resistance is required. Manufactured from solid stainless steel rather than coated carbon steel, they provide long-term durability in exposed environments.
Stainless steel fixings should be used where the base material has inherent corrosive properties, such as green oak or cedar, or where regular moisture exposure is expected.
The double countersunk head helps achieve a neat flush finish, while the helix shank improves clamping by clearing debris during installation. A single slash point reduces driving torque and lowers the risk of splitting, particularly near board edges.
Manufactured to BS EN 14592:2008, these screws are suitable for hardwood (pre-drilled), softwood and corrosive timber applications.
