Description
Teco Long Leg Joist Hangers support timber joists where the joist needs to sit below the supporting timber, such as in loft conversions. This galvanised model fits joists 47mm wide and 200–300mm deep, with 600mm legs and a 50mm bearing seat.
The narrow straps make the hangers easier to position and fix on site. Made from 1.2 mm pre-galvanised steel, these Teco Long Leg Joist Hangers are supplied in a box of 10.

Teco specifies filling every fixing hole with compatible corrosion-resistant 30 × 3.75 mm square twist nails or an equivalent fixing. The manufacturer lists a Eurocode 5 characteristic value of 28.04 kN, based on tests with the hanger fitted 100 mm below the support and all available fixing holes nailed. Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
