Description
Teco 94mm Long Leg Joist Hangers support timber joists that need to sit below the supporting timber, such as in loft conversions. This galvanised model fits joists 94mm wide and 200–300mm deep, with 600mm legs and a 50mm bearing seat.
The narrow fixing straps make the hangers easier to position on site. Made from 1.2mm pre-galvanised steel, these Teco 94mm Long Leg Joist Hangers are supplied in a box of 10.

Installation
Fill every fixing hole with 30 × 3.75mm galvanised square twist nails or equivalent corrosion-resistant fixings compatible with galvanised steel.
Load data
The Eurocode 5 characteristic value is 28.04 kN. The BS 5268 safe working loads are 14.02 kN short term, 13.35 kN medium term and 11.68 kN long term.
These figures are based on tests with the hanger fitted 100 mm below the support and every fixing hole nailed.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
