Description
Heavy duty self drilling screws 38mm fix metal to heavy section steel up to 12mm thick. The self-drilling No.5 point cuts through steel quickly, so you don’t need to pre-drill. As a result, installation is faster and more efficient on site.
In addition, the hex head provides a secure drive and helps maintain control during fixing. The metric thread with V flutes improves cutting performance and creates a strong hold in thicker steel sections. Each screw also includes a 16mm EPDM washer, which forms a tight seal and helps prevent water ingress in external applications.
These heavy duty self drilling screws 38mm use a bi-metal construction. The A2-304 stainless steel body resists corrosion, while the hardened carbon steel drill tip delivers the strength needed to drill into heavy gauge steel. Therefore, they are ideal for urban and industrial environments where durability matters.
