About First Fix Nail Standard Packs With Gas
FirmaHold first fix nail standard packs with gas combine smaller quantities of clipped head nails with framing nailer fuel cells. They provide a practical option for framing, studwork and structural timber work when bulk quantities are not required.
The 34° paper collation and clipped head design allow more nails per strip, helping reduce tool loading times. In addition, high-quality paper collation helps reduce nail jams, while the diamond point provides effective penetration into timber.

Which Nail Guns Suit These Packs?
Timco’s compatibility guide specifies CFC framing fuel cells and FirmaHold clipped head nails for gas-powered models including the Paslode IM350 / IM350+, Makita GN900SE and HiKOKI / Hitachi NR90GC2.
Check your exact model in our FirmaHold first fix nail gun compatibility table before ordering. Your tool must accept both the fuel cell and the nail specification, including the length and shank diameter.
Check the nail type carefully. FirmaHold clipped head nails are not suitable for round head nailers such as the Paslode IM360Ci, or for 21° plastic-collated and 28° wire-collated nailers.

Bright nails suit dry internal applications where additional corrosion protection is not required. For coated or stainless steel nails, check each listing’s stated application and exposure suitability before selecting.
Do not assume every galvanised finish suits exposed outdoor work, or that A2 stainless steel is suitable for every coastal or highly corrosive environment. For structural connections, follow the project specification and check the individual product’s declared performance and conformity information.
Do You Need a Pack With Gas?
Packs with fuel cells are useful when you need to replenish nails and gas together. However, compatible battery-powered and pneumatic nailers use the nails only and do not require fuel cells.
