Description
The Teco EML Stainless Steel Sheet and Fixings – 2500 × 700mm (Box of 10) creates a strong mechanical key for plaster on walls and suspended ceilings. As a result, plaster bonds more effectively and forms a secure base for the finish.
Each box contains 10 sheets, 500 stainless steel screws and 500 stainless steel washers for fixing to timber supports. This gives you the equivalent of 50 screws and 50 washers per sheet.
Expanded metal lathing also supports the encasement of steel columns and beams. Therefore, it can form part of specified fire protection and plaster build-up systems.
In addition, stainless steel offers high corrosion resistance for external applications and areas exposed to moisture, condensation or extended drying times. Each sheet measures 2500 × 700mm and covers 1.75m² before allowing for overlaps.
Correct positioning, overlap and fixing remain essential during installation. Therefore, always follow the manufacturer’s guidance and the project specification.

Installation Notes
First, fix sheets with the long edge spanning between supports. Ensure the mesh strands slope downwards and inwards from the plaster face.
Next, overlap sheets by 50mm lengthways and 25mm widthways.
For timber supports, fix using suitable screws and washers at 100mm centres. The pack includes stainless steel fixings for this purpose. However, check the manufacturer’s guidance and project specification to confirm fixing quantities and suitability. Additional fixings may be required depending on the support layout.
Alternatively, fix to metal supports using compatible 1.2mm stainless steel tying wire at 100mm centres. This pack does not include tying wire.
Finally, wear gloves during handling, as cut edges may be sharp.
For dry internal applications where moisture exposure is limited, galvanised EML sheets may be suitable. Stainless steel is recommended for exposed or damp environments.

Delivery & Returns
All orders to the UK mainland are free of charge over £85 inc VAT. Orders under £85 inc VAT are charged at £9.95. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday on the same working day, with delivery to most UK mainland addresses typically taking 1–2 working days.
Some products have a longer delivery lead time, such as 3–4 working days. Where this applies, the expected delivery timeframe will be clearly stated on the individual product page. Orders may be dispatched from more than one location and items within the same order may therefore arrive separately. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for further information.
Returns: Please inspect your goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and contact us promptly if anything is damaged, incorrect or appears to be faulty. Prompt notification helps us investigate delivery issues with our couriers and suppliers, but does not affect your statutory rights.
For consumer change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the goods to us. Some products, including ladders, long-length building materials and other oversized goods, cannot normally be returned using standard postal services. For large, heavy or oversized goods that cannot normally be returned by post, we estimate that return carriage may cost up to £75 (including VAT) within the UK mainland. The actual cost will depend on the size and weight of the goods, the collection location and the carrier or return service used.
Please contact us before returning any goods so that we can provide the correct return address and any applicable return instructions or authorisation requirements. Different provisions apply to business customers and to goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed. Please see our full Delivery & Returns Policy for full details.
Should you require any assistance, please email us at sales@fastfixingsonline.com, call us on 07920 120644, or complete our contact form. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
